RSCON3 took place from Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31*, 2011 and was our biggest yet global online conference for everyone concerned with education. With 80 presenters and 12 keynote speakers it was an absolutely incredible event! Organised by educators for educators, it was FREE but offered more valuable and inspiring Professional Development than money could buy! What a great idea for faculty professional development or any kind of sustained, elearning that needs to occur over the summer months. Creative, motivational, feature-rich, easy to use.  Beautiful.

The thoughtful/reflective effort it took to write this has made this one of the most powerful things I've done for professional development as a teacher.

We need financial support, visionary leaders, moral compasses, inspiring role models, enriching professional development, and meaningful collaboration. We also need minimally restricted content and unlimited access… these are all building blocks that 'increase the frequency of guiding coincidences'… these are the things that inspire us, fuel us, connect us, and allow us to see the potential in ourselves and each other. We truly can 'Be the change we want to see in the world.'

It could be used as an organizer or a personal learning environment for professional development. You can customize this page by adding and deleting Flakes (Widgets): * browse the Educational Gallery * change the layout * customize your theme * share and publish your page

This might be an interesting way to facilitate conversation in classes and professional development.

This podcast is a resource for professional edtech development that is shortened into a few short but sweet minutes. Any educator can enhance their classroom by gaining new ideas and perspectives constantly. This isn't a podcast that you would play in the classroom, but the ideas gained from this podcast would certainly improve instruction. The most common format of this podcast is app reviews or tips.
